TRUE SOLE

Rock The Bells ‘08

August 18th, 2008

Check out the pics I took from Rock The Bells this past weekend at The Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. Definitely a good look for Hip-Hop & everybody involved.

Only built for Cuban Linx BABY!!!

The R rockin’ the crowd.

De La ALWAYS put on a good show!!!

How high can YOU get!?!

It’s a cold world in Hip-Hop when pioneer Afrika Bambaataa is DJ’ing on the side stage. Damn.

Nasty to NaS, NaS to Escobar.

N-A-S are the letters that spell…

Your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper.

The crowd is lovin’ it.

Just a couple of TRUE stragglers.

Nobody Beats the BIZ!!!

August 15th, 2008

Nobody beats the Biz, except maybe Michael Phelps.

Damn, the boy can swim. Could he be the greatest individual athlete ever?!? I don’t know, but I can definitely name a couple other athletes that could take that honor.

TIGER WOODS

Check out the brand new Blazer created in honor of Mr. Woods. An Augusta/Masters logo on the back heel, dimples on the white like a golf ball, a Green (Jacket) Hoodie logo on the tongue, and Tiger-like striping on the Swoosh makes this an instant classic.

Make sure you get that collar Vijay!

Michael Jordan

What can I say about dude that you already don’t know? One of the best to ever do it.

Mr. Spike Lee a.k.a. Mars Blackmon doin’ the right thing.

Scottie Pippen

OK. I’m trippin’ with that one, but you have to admit when these joints came out in ‘96. Cats looked at him in a different light. His D alone on Magic Johnson in the ‘91 Finals, at least gives him honorable mention.

Special delivery for the mailman!

OK. So they’re all great athletes. It’s really subjective. So I guess nobody beats the Biz.

KMEL Summer Block Party

August 9th, 2008

If you’re from the Bay Area, you know every summer KMEL puts on a concert. In keeping with the tradition, KMEL presented us with the Summer Block Party at the Oracle Arena in the Town (Oakland for you hip-impaired). Some of the artists on the bill were Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Lloyd & T-Pain, just to name a few. It was definitely a good time & good look. My only gripe was “What’s up with all the general button ups”? All in all another great show from KMEL.

People waiting in anticipation.

Chuy Gomez & Big Von introduce the SNOWMAN…

Young Jeezy reppin’ them A’s!!!

Mind Motion always in battle mode when needed.

The Boss…Rick Ross

The Boss tellin’ the Town…”Here I Am”

Ne-Yo silkin’ out the crowd.

12,000 plus strong at the 2008 KMEL Summer Block Party. See you next year!
